Feeling adventures? Today we are going to try something different. Instead of having the usual kimchi soup or yaki udon, we will use both main ingredients to make a fusion dish cuisine. All you need it's probably already in your kitchen.
So let's hop right in!
Super easy to make!
Ingredients (for 3 servings)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup chopped kimchi & 1/3 cup kimchi juice
2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste)
1/2 cup chicken broth
3 packs of LG Fresh Japanese Udon
3 large egg yolks (room temperature)
1 scallion (thinly sliced on a diagonal)
Instructions
Udon (for stir-frying)
Cook 3 packs of LG Fresh Japanese Udon in boiling water for 1 minute.
Rinse and drain the udon noodles under cold water. Drizzle a little bit of oil to keep them from sticking while preparing the sauce.
The sauce
Heat the pan over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Add chopped kimchi and gochujang and cook, frequently stirring, until the kimchi is softened. Add chicken broth and kimchi juice and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce is thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
Add cooked udon noodles and the remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Toss until well combined. Season with salt if needed. Top it off with an egg yolk and scallions.
Enjoy!
